Nexion has announced that its new series of Nexion on the Road educational events will kick off with a two-day gatherin in the Washington, D.C. area on April 12.
In all, the series will include six events throughout the year in the following cities: Washington, D.C.; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Detroit, MI; Seattle, WA; Newark, NJ; and Boston, MA. Attendees will participate in a full day of targeted education, plus have opportunities to experience the host city as a tourist; additionally, ship inspections will be offered in four cities. The Washington, D.C. Nexion on the Road includes a full day of sessions and an executive meet-and-greet at the headquarters of Vacation.com and ASTA. The events held in Detroit and Seattle will be in collaboration with Nexion Canada.
Nexion on the Road expands on 2015's NEX-Door series of events, said Nexion President Jackie Friedman. While NEX-Door events were intended for agents based in host cities, Nexion on the Road events have been designed so that agents in the United States and Canada can select the one they feel will be most beneficial to their business.
In select cities, Nexion agents will participate in day-two fams to experience the destination or supplier partner product. The six cities selected for the Nexion on the Road events include:

Includes ship inspection of Celebrity Cruises’ Solstice

Boston, MA, October 27-28
Includes ship inspection of Regent Seven Seas’ Seven Seas Mariner
