Nexion has announced a new Seminar at Sea for 40 Nexion members onboard the Azamara Quest.
The 11-night West Indies Hideaway Voyage will embark on Sunday, March 16, from Miami, Florida, and includes ports of call in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Barts, Nevis and the British Virgin Islands. As part of the Seminar at Sea experience, Nexion agents will participate in two comprehensive seminars during their time onboard designed to enhance their selling skills with affluent travelers, increase their agency’s productivity, and ultimately enable each Nexion agent to increase their earnings potential, Nexion said.

In addition to the educational seminars, I know our agents are extremely interested in experiencing all of the exclusive amenities that Azamara is known for, particularly longer stays and more overnights that will allow them and their future clients to fully immerse themselves in each destination visited during the cruise.”
Nexion members selected to participate in the Azamara Seminar at Sea had to meet certain criteria, such as: having a focus on selling cruise vacation, expressing an interest in increasing their sales the affluent travelers and also meeting certain Nexion sales goals. While aboard the Azamara Quest, Nexion agents will participate in two, morning-long seminars with topics and discussion centered on:
- The changing demographic and buying motivators of the affluent client
- A review of the “technical to tactical” approach to trends in the industry
- Understanding the Azamara brand
- Selling groups and utilizing Nexion’s group space
- An interactive, idea-sharing session in which each agent will provide 6-8 examples of how they find and target high-end clients
- Creating a “Plan of Work” to implement strategies on increasing sales to affluent travelers
While in Gustavia on March 22, guests will participate in an “AzAmazing” event and be led on a journey that explores Afro-Caribbean musical traditions.
