Becky Piper (left), a CruiseOne partner from Strongsville, Ohio, is the grand prize winner of Carnival’s Europe “Book and Win” contest and received a 12-day European cruise for two on the Carnival Magic this summer, along with round-trip air transportation. Geoff Cox, Carnival’s business development director for Ohio, presented Cox with her award earlier this month.
Each Carnival Magic Europe booking made by travel agents in October and November counted as one entry in the contest. More than 400 agents won various prizes including $50 American Express gift cards, Carnival Magic ship models and more.
Carnival Magic is set to debut May 1 with a nine-day cruise from Venice followed by seven- to 12-day Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona. Following a 16-day transatlantic voyage, the ship will reposition to Galveston, Texas, Nov. 14, 2011, for year-round Caribbean departures.
