The Professional Association of Travel Hosts (PATH) has announced that its sixth annual symposium will be held at the Shoreham Omni Hotel, September 1 – 3, in Washington, DC.
This year the PATH Symposium immediately follows ASTA’s Global Convention, which will also be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, August 29 – September 1.
“The symposium is a unique opportunity to discuss industry issues and challenges and to share best practices among both travel industry suppliers and fellow host agency owners and managers,” said PATH President Anita Pagliasso. “Because the event is open to both PATH members and non-members, host agencies across a wide spectrum of the industry can participate in brainstorming sessions and interactive panels designed to address common concerns.”
Host agencies and suppliers will also meet to exchange information and dialogue about how to work together effectively to maximize their mutual success. Host- to-host only networking sessions will address the challenges facing host agencies. Interactive panels will cover fraud protection, working with independent contractors and other topics of mutual interest.
