Pegasus Solutions has appointed Mike Montemurro as senior vice president, product strategy & support. Montemurro, who previously served as the vice president of central reservation system (CRS) product management for the company, will assume responsibility for all aspects of product strategy and support across Pegasus’ reservations, distribution, representation and financial services product lines.
The announcement was made by Mike Kistner, CEO and chairman of the board of Pegasus Solutions.
“Mike Montemurro is widely recognized as a thought leader in the hospitality industry, and has already made significant contributions to Pegasus during his time here," said Kistner. "With his strong industry experience and proven track record, he is uniquely qualified to lead us forward in the development and delivery of product strategies that will help our customers be more successful.”
Montemurro has led the CRS product team, focusing on strategic planning and market positioning of Pegasus’ next generation CRS, RezView NG. During his tenure, more than 25 major groups and chains have migrated to the award-winning platform, with many now experiencing growth in revenue – some as high as 90 percent. RezView NG has also been licensed by HP Enterprise Services to accelerate development of its next-generation consumer travel solutions for hospitality and airline clients, and received accolades from InfoWorld, CIO and InformationWeek.
