Perol Named Chairman of ETC

Jean-Philippe Perol, director for the Americas at Maison de la France tourism office, has been named chairman of the European Travel Commission, the marketing organization devoted to promoting Europe as a tourist destination. Perol will hold the post through November, and will retain his position with Maison de la France, where he's worked for the last 12 years. Perol previously was employed by Air France and owned a travel agency, Safari Turismo, which folded into Wagonlits Tourism. Visit http://us.franceguide.com. (JM)
