For travelers whose plans are subject to change, travel company Pleasant Holidays has introduced tiered pricing for two of its travel protection plans: Protection Plan and Cancel Anytime Protection Plan Plus. Pricing will be based on the package price of the vacation, including non-cruise travel to Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Costa Rica and the continental United States.

Coverage under both plans guarantees the price of the vacation, waives all Pleasant Holidays imposed pre-departure fees, as well as the one-time voluntary supplier change/re-issue fee; provides baggage coverage and replaces lost or stolen documents.
For vacations that are most susceptible to change, Cancel Anytime Protection Plan Plus features coverage for changes and cancellations of airline, hotel, car rental/transfers and destination activities. Reimbursement for vacation investment is 100 percent, including a maximum of $5,000 per person as a result of employer termination, illness, injury, death or terrorism.
Other benefits include reimbursement for up to 80 percent with a $5,000 maximum per person for other unexpected cancellations. Travelers wanting to their cover all bases can benefit from the plan, which offers emergency medical transportation home up to $50,000, emergency medical or dental care during the vacation up to $25,000, and coverage for travel interrupted for a medical or dental emergency, policy holder’s death, the death of a traveling companion or a terrorist act up to $20,000. Travel accident will be reimbursed for up to $15,000, lost/stolen baggage coverage for up to $1,000 and travel delay for up to $500.
Vacations may purchase this plan at anytime up to the final payment for services, and can add protection of airline tickets bought from another provider. Other plans must be purchased at the time of booking to be valid, and some are non-refundable. The company's Certificate of Insurance includes details including limitations, restrictions and conditions that may apply.
