Raul Leal, president and COO of Virgin Hotels, will headline the 2011 NEWH Leadership Conference taking place at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Universal Orlando January 13-16th.
Leal, formerly president of Desires Hotels, joined the Virgin team in September to take the brand to the next level – hotels.
“Virgin’s approach to everything they do is about culture and innovation working hand in hand," Leal said. "The hotel business is a natural for the brand.”
His speech will delve into the Virgin story, the essentials of building a hotel brand, changing consumer dynamics and how Virgin is reacting to them, as well as the state of the industry. “I am excited to speak at the NEWH Leadership Conference, as they are an organization helping the industry’s leaders of tomorrow through scholarships,” Leal said.
