Noting her 17 years of experience as a travel agent, along with her other specialization in Western Europe, Travel + Leisure singled out Nagy for her knowledge in Central Europe: A part-time Budapest resident who is fluent in both Hungarian and German, Nagy is skilled at showing travelers an insider’s perspective on well-known places, including Prague and Vienna. She also introduces travelers to off-the-beaten path destinations such as Romania, Montenegro, Slovenia and Slovakia, the magazine said.

In selecting Becker, Travel + Leisure noted his 28 years as a travel agent, his PADI Divemaster certification and his specializations in adventure travel. In the past year alone, he has visited Indonesia’s Komodo island; Vanuatu, in the South Pacific; the Grenadines; and Canada’s Vancouver Island. He is adept at pairing diving opportunities with cultural destinations, and makes a point of working with operators who support local economies and are serious about conservation and sustainable travel, Travel + Leisure said.

In its introduction of the 2014 A-List of 133 Top Travel Agents, Travel + Leisure noted a top travel advisor can help travelers turn vacations into the experience of a lifetime. The annual A-List showcases the best specialists in the business.
