Qantas Airways recently appointed Rohan Garnett as vice president of leisure sales in North America.
Prior to coming to Qantas, Garnett served as group general manager of people for Jetstar Airways, where he worked in all aspects of human resources. Formerly, Garnett was also Jetstar’s head of customer service, with responsibilities that included the formulation of customer service functions for cabin crew staff, catering, and in-flight product.
In his new role, Garnett will oversee Qantas’ relationships with travel agents and tourism authorities, manage group sales and promotion, and assist with the overall commercial development of the region.
Residing in Los Angeles, Garnett is distinguished as a member of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce and is a trustee of the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).
