Qantas Airways Introduces Two New Resources for Travel Agents

Qantas Airways launched two new communication resources for travel agents: a toll-free travel agency support phone line and a North America industry travel agent sales web site.

The new agency support phone number, 800-227-4795, is staffed Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST and provides assistance with agent rebated travel, published and net fair guidelines, refund authorities, product information and Qantas policies and procedures.

Qantas' online web site enables quick access to the latest Qantas news, product, policy and fare details, route and aircraft seat maps, as well as contact and training information specifically for travel agents.

"We are always looking for ways to enhance our communication with travel professionals and these tools will save valuable research and processing time, enabling increased efficiencies for agents as they book travel with Qantas," said Wally Mariani, Qantas Airways senior executive vice president, The Americas and Pacific.
