Registration Open for Home-Based Agent Conference From Montrose Travel

mountainsMontrose Travel has opened registration for its 2014 Annual Educational Conference for its hosting division, MTravel.com

The event, inspired by the theme "Reach for New Heights," will take place October 9 -13 in Denver and Vail, Colorado. The host agency will welcome their independent travel professionals from all over the country to convene for a five-day itinerary of networking events, a trade show, supplier roundtable discussions, sight-seeing/tours and training. The event will conclude with an optional post-Conference sampler of the “Grand Parks Tour” in partnership with the Globus Family of Brands.

MTravel.com is now in its sixth year hosting the event. “Each year we strive for an even more interesting agenda and location, featuring one of our preferred supplier partners, while building on our past successes,” said Andi Mysza, president of MTravel.com. That success hinges upon their “secret formula”: they take the time to poll their affiliates and build the event around their requests. “Our conferences continue to be custom-made according to the decisions our agents make,” said Mysza.  “It adds fresh flavor and relevancy to each new event.”

Montrose Travel also offers a host agency mentoring program.

The 2014 event will include core-conference training at the Denver Inverness Hotel and Conference Center and the Vail Marriott in Colorado. In addition, an optional post-conference opportunity will be sponsored by Globus Family of Brands, one of Montrose Travel’s key preferred suppliers. The trip will allow the host’s affiliates to experience a mini-version of one of Globus’ “Grand Parks Tour”, including visits to multiple national parks in Colorado and Utah and several special events along the way. The post-conference trip was expressly designed by Globus for Montrose Travel agents to give them a taste of what an escorted tour is really like.

Said Mysza, “Our conferences have tilted toward cruises and all-inclusives in the past. This is our opportunity to ‘reach for new heights’ by highlighting the firsthand experience and profit-potential of land-based tours.”

Last year, Montrose's conference took place in Montrose, CA and continued on a three-night Pacific Coast cruise aboard the Golden Princess.
