The Luxury Travel Exchange show floor showcased over 350 travel suppliers representing thousands of commissionable luxury products from around the globe offering various means to increase their luxury business via formal and informal meetings. At the event, held November 27-29, 2012 at the Palazzo Las Vegas, travel advisors reported increased commissions and new relationships during dedicated Exchange show floor time and the appointment program. Suppliers agreed.
“Our overall goal for Luxury Travel Exchange was to provide a conducive platform to foster relationships within the luxury travel community,” remarked group show and event director, Jennifer Fernandez. “In just two days, advisors were able to “Exchange” with hundreds of suppliers representing an array of sellable opportunities. Feedback indicates we achieved that goal, and offered today’s luxury travel professional a solution to maximize their time out of the office, while forging strong partner and peer relationships.”
Advisors and suppliers networked during dedicated open show hours and optional One-to-One appointments. The One-to-One appointments generated over 7,000 business appointments Exchange floor over the two-day show. Rosemary Bartello from Cruise Holidays of Oakville commented, “LTX allowed us to meet with vendors we normally would not contact and meet new companies we did not know existed. It was well worth the time and investment.”
"LTX delivered a great return on investment through their targeted approach, and my time was not wasted. The show had quality over quantity and that is what matters most. We will be back for 2013,” shared George Tsolakakis of Aqua Vista Hotels Ltd.
