Reynolds Steps Down From ATS Position

Don Reynolds, who has served for more than 25 years as the executive vice president of the American Tourism Society (ATS) will leave the position at the end of this year.

Reynolds was "responsible for much of (ATS') success" since the society's formation in 1989, according to Dave Parry, chairman of ATS.

"It was Don's intimate knowledge of the travel industry and his broad range of contacts both at home and abroad that allowed ATS to grow and prosper over the past 20 plus years," Parry said.

Reynolds will continue working with ATS as an advisor and consultant on special projects. He is the president of Reynolds Associates, where his client list has included American Express, the German National Tourist Office, Canada, Austria, Amtrak, Radisson and Avis. In that position, Reynolds will serve as a tourism consultant.
