Rosenberg Joins Pleasant as Part of Realignment

With an eye toward spurring its own growth, Pleasant Holidays is realigning several departments and bringing aboard an industry veteran to fill the newly created post of senior vice president of sales and marketing. Bruce Rosenberg, who has more than two decades of senior management experience in the travel industry, will join the company August 1. Tim Irwin, Pleasant's president and CEO, says Rosenberg will be charged with expanding Pleasant's business and taking the company to a new level. He will be in charge of the company's sales, marketing and internet departments. Rosenberg says that Pleasant will maintain its performance levels and commitment to travel agencies, but also will be proactive in what is a rapidly changing industry. Rosenberg comes to Pleasant from TRAMS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sabre.
