Scenic Group Launches New Rewards Program for Travel Agents

Scenic Group, parent organization of river cruise companies Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Waterways, has unveiled a new travel agent rewards program . To kick it off, both companies have made it retroactive – so agents get credit for all prior and current bookings made for travel in 2018 and beyond. Plus, all bookings made during October 2018 will be awarded double points. Points are credited every two weeks, so many agents may already have points to redeem online for a huge variety of products and gift cards.

Travel agents receive a welcome email from Scenic and/or Emerald Waterways Rewards with a password reset link and a unique Rewards Member ID. This ID is pre-populated in the agent’s profile on Express Book and must appear on all Scenic and/or Emerald Waterways bookings to earn points. One point is earned for every two dollars spent – excluding air components, taxes and non-commissionable products which form part of the booking, as well as any surcharge or service fees on payments made by credit card, charge card or other forms of non-cash payment.

Travel agents access their accounts, review their points status and browse the catalogue to redeem their points. Emerald Waterways Rewards points are transferrable to their Scenic Rewards accounts (but not the other way around).

Highlights of rewards include an extensive range of products like appliances (big and small – refrigerators, washers, dryers, coffee makers, juicers, mixers, etc.), fitness and outdoor equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, camping, boating, etc.), electronics (TV’s, camera’s, video games, computers, etc.), jewelry and fashion items, multiple gift card options, food and wine items, etc.
