Signature Travel Reports Record Growth at Sales Meeting

Signature Travel Network is reporting record growth, including membership gains for 2014, with eleven companies joining Signature in 2014. 

The gains were announced at Signature's annual three-day Sales Meeting  now underway at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. The meeting includes 2,100 attendees, with more than 1,200 Signature travel consultants representing 91 percent of Signature’s member agencies.

Preferred supplier partners attended from 57 countries worldwide, Signature said. 

"Collectively, Signature now generates more than $6 billion in annual travel sales, a double-digit increase from last year," Alex Sharpe, Signature president and CEO said, noting advance 2015 sales are growing at a faster rate than this time last year. "We are confident that next year’s results will exceed our ambitious expectations.”

New members include: Archer Travel, Montrose, California; Conlin Travel, Ann Arbor, Michigan; Legacy Travel, Plano, Texas; Global Escapes, Athens, Georgia; Fox World Travel, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Cruise Vacation Outlet, Orlando, Florida; Trase Miller, Oak Brook, Illinois; PHD Travel, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Bon Voyage World Travel Experts, Waterford, Wisconsin; Rubinsohn Travel, Jenkintown, Pennsylvania; Seven Lands & Seas Travel, Alexandria, Virginia.

During the conference, Signature members can attend 60 seminars, including sessions on destination training, social media, luxury and niche market sales, client database analysis and segmentation, digital marketing strategies, as well as technology-focused workshops.

The annual tradeshow will feature 450 booths and pavilions. In conjunction with the tradeshow, Signature says its partners have committed over $700,000 worth of educational trips for the travel consultant prize drawing.
