Travel Agent is on hand for the Travel Leaders Network 2017 International Conference in Orlando, where roughly 2,100 Travel Leaders Network members are in attendance.
With the theme, “Be a Leader,” advisors are attending educational training seminars and learning about the latest industry innovations from Travel Leaders Network and industry suppliers. The highlight of Monday’s general session was the keynote speech by Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak.
The International Conference will also include more than 230 training workshops and supplier seminars; an “Experience Room” where travel agents can talk with subject matter experts about exclusive Travel Leaders Network programs and tools; and a full trade show featuring more than 170 major travel industry partners.
Wozniak contributed to the public’s imagination on how computers could enhance their daily lives through his design of Apple’s first line of products, the Apple I and II, and his influence over the popular Macintosh.
Iconic for his leadership in technology and philanthropy for more than 30 years, Wozniak is a recipient of the National Medal of Technology – the highest honor bestowed on America’s leading innovators; he is also a published author and currently the chief scientist at Primary Data.
Another key highlight is the International Conference’s venue within Universal Orlando Resort, and a private evening of entertainment at Universal Studios Florida. Entertainment during the Monday’s second general session includes a performance by the cast of the new Broadway hit musical, “A Bronx Tale.”
