Steigenberger Hotels AG annouced Dirk Führer has been promoted as Chief Commercial Officer in Frankfurt. As such, he will handle all sales, marketing, e-commerce, revenue management and distribution for the hotel group's brands, Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts and InterCityHotel. Among the 78 hotels are the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf, the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin in Stuttgart and the Steigenberger Hotel Belvédère in the Swiss resort of Davos.
At 43, Führer has worked in hospitality since 1985 as a Management Trainee in the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Munich, where he's from. Currently, he serves as Area Director Sales Central Europe for Hilton Worldwide in Frankfurt. There, he is currently responsible for 24 hotels and the management of a Global Sales Office and six national Sales Offices.
