THOR to Host Top Hoteliers and Agents

THOR, Inc. will host a trade show event for its travel agent members and hotel partners as part of its THOR Access Series annual event. The event will be hosted at The Fairmont San Jose on May 19, 2010 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

National hotel representatives will be in attendance including Fairmont, Raffles, Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide, Choice Hotels International, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Fiesta Americana Hotels & Resorts, Best Western International and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

THOR says the event will bring together hotels and travel agents in an intimate atmosphere to speak about important issues. The format of a trade show encourages education, interaction, conversation and networking. It encourages a personal level of communication where all participants walk away with more knowledge and key tactics to use every day, THOR says.

“THOR is dedicated to providing opportunities for its member travel agents to gain access to valuable resources that provide them with better efficiencies and ultimately greater profits,” says Melissa Carlston, managing director, THOR, Inc. “With additional sponsorships from our supplier partners we are able to provide insider knowledge while enjoying a rewarding evening.”

In addition to education and networking, THOR will be presenting and raffling a variety of prizes including three THOR gift baskets worth over $200 each, a two night weekend stay for two in a Junior Suite with valet parking at The Fairmont Newport Beach, a two night stay including afternoon tea for two at The Fairmont San Jose, a two night Hilton Worldwide certificate, $200 in Hyatt gift certificates and other prizes.
