Top Agencies Rewarded by American Express Travel

africaAmerican Express Travel reports it recognized 27 of its top performing Representative Agencies with an exclusive Kenyan safari, hosted by luxury tour operator and preferred partner, Micato Safaris. The winners of the Representative Excellence Award were recognized for their 2012 sales performance and ongoing commitment to their clients, providing the highest standard of service and experience, Amex said.

"We were so pleased to recognize these dedicated agencies for their outstanding participation within our network,” said Tony Gonchar, Vice President, American Express Travel Representative Network. "The 27 agencies selected have shown unparalleled service, expertise and professionalism in their support of customer travel experiences”

Over the course of the six-day trip, which ran from May 17-22, Representative Excellence award-winners enjoyed a three-day safari in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

In addition, the group of 80 participants, comprised of the owners and managers of the Representative Agencies, industry suppliers and American Express Travel executives, was taken to tour the facilities of AmericaShare, a charitable organization dedicated to helping populations in Nairobi who have been affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. 

American Express Travel presented a donation to the foundation.
