Tour Ops Focus on Agents With New Hires

This past week saw the appointment of three new hires to agent-focused positions at tour operators Travel Bound, Travcoa and TCS Expeditions.

At Travel Bound, Denise Kelly has joined as business development manager covering Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia, along with Jason Weier, also a business development manager for Travel Bound, who is serving Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Both will report to the agent-exclusive tour operator's Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Nico Zenner.

Over at luxury-oriented operators Travcoa and TCS Expeditions—both sister companies under the First Choice Expeditions umbrella—Renee Tao has joined as director of sales for the western region of the United States. Tao has spent more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, serving in sales and guest services positions for the likes of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons, Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton.
