TPI Reports Solid Response to Conference

travel agentTravel Planners International (TPI) reports high levels of conference and event registration for its 2013 TPI Extravaganza, set for October 1-6, 2013 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando.

To-date, nearly 300 TPI agents and suppliers have registered for the annual convention – a pace that already exceeds the final attendance of the organization’s meeting held last September, TPI says.

In addition, individual event registration for the various training sessions and evening events – which opened June 5 – has already far exceeded TPI officials’ expectations.

“We are blown away by this strong showing from agents and suppliers – and we still have more than three months before TPI Extravaganza kicks off,” said Michelle Reed, TPI’s marketing and business development manager.

“Based on agent feedback from last year’s conference, they’re looking for the opportunity to interact with the TPI team and suppliers, as well as to expand their knowledge of TPI, Ensemble – our consortium, and industry products and services. Also, the fact that we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary is another big draw," Reed said.

The 2013 conference will feature more than 40 multi-level interactive training sessions, an expanded trade show highlighting TPI and Ensemble Travel Group preferred partners, supplier roundtable discussions, nearly a dozen ship and attraction inspections, and several blockbuster evening events, including the closing party at Planet Hollywood Orlando.

TPI founders and owners Ken Gagliano and Tony Gagliano Jr., along with other TPI executives, will also address the attendees at the opening general session on Oct. 2 and throughout the conference.

TPI agents and preferred suppliers can take advantage of the special lodging rate at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, which is also available three days pre- and post-conference.
