Travel Bound Launches New Web Site

Wholesale FIT supplier Travel Bound has launched a completely revamped web site,, with new products such as apartments, villas and ryokan inns, private sightseeing tours and transfers, as well as new features including interactive city maps, search filters and hotel hot deals and special offers. To find and book the right hotel, users start the hotel selection function by entering city, dates, type of room needed. The next screen displays all available hotels plus a small map, which can be enlarged with one click to show the location of all properties, with starting price and star rating plus a list of attractions and neighborhoods. Users can zoom in or out of the map, and apply filters to search by star rating, neighborhood or attractions. Holding the cursor over the specific hotel brings up a small booking box.

Among new products, agents can choose from economical shuttle-style transfers or private-car transfers, including larger vehicles for a small group or extra luggage. Transfers are available in hundreds of destinations. In addition to a choice between regularly scheduled group sightseeing tours and private sightseeing, Travel Bound now offers tours in several different languages and special interest tours such as culinary, nature, shopping and wine tasting. >"Hot deals" are highlighted on the company's home page.
