The Travel Corporation USA Announces Exclusive Promotion for Luxury Travel Expo Attendees

Luxury Travel Expo, produced by Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Agent magazine, in conjunction with The Travel Corporation USA, has announced an exclusive promotion for travel advisors attending Luxury Travel Expo 2010. Advisors registered for Luxury Travel Expo, who attend The Travel Corporation’s plated breakfast at 7 a.m. on December 8, can earn an extra $50 commission for each passenger booked and deposited between November 1 and December 31, 2010. This first-time promotion applies to each new guest booking (land-only or river cruise) of $1,000 or more on 2010/2011 departures with African Travel Inc., Brendan Vacations, Insight Vacations, Lion World Tours, Trafalgar and the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection.

“The Travel Corporation brands have been participating in Luxury Travel Expo for the past four years because it is good for business,” commented Richard Launder, president, The Travel Corporation USA. “We get exposed to travel agents who specialize in luxury travel and who genuinely want to sell our brands. The fact that Luxury Travel Expo is a BIG event that draws so many agents and so many great suppliers is all icing on the cake.”

“Working with established brands like The Travel Corporation to reward and empower the advisors who attend Luxury Travel Expo is a top priority for us each year,” said the show’s vice president of tradeshows and events, Alicia Evanko. “We know that all attendees will leave Luxury Travel Expo ready to earn more in 2011 through the exclusive incentives and insider’s knowledge they get during the show.”

During the breakfast, The Travel Corporation executives will share the latest marketplace trends and what’s new for 2011. Paul Wiseman, Trafalgar’s president, will focus on the new "At Leisure" program, a relaxing, first-class, deep-immersion experience. Marc Kazlauskas, president, Insight Vacations, will showcase Premium Vacations and the new Insight Gold program. Nico Zenner, president of Brendan Vacations, will speak about new Small Group Discoveries in Ireland, while Guy Young, the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection’s president, will focus on new vessels and destination enhancements. Representatives from African Travel Inc., Lion World Tours and the Red Carnation Boutique Hotel Collection will also share their product knowledge and insights.

In addition to the The Travel Corporation plated breakfast, registrants can attend the educational session “Exceeding Expectations with Escorted & Independent Vacations” on Wednesday, December 8 at 11:15 a.m. Learn more about the session here.
