U.K.-based host agency Travel Counsellors has named Darya Camacci U.S. senior vice president of operations, reporting to Peter Rasmussen, now president, North America. Camacci had served as senior vice president of sales for Auto Europe for the last nine years. Rasmusssen was promoted from general manager. Both executives report to Travel Counsellors' managing director, Steve Byrne, and are expected to spearhead Travel Counsellors' growth in the North American market.

Travel Counsellors has 870 full-time agents worldwide and more than $430 million in annual sales. Globally, Travel Counsellors says, it increased its number of consultants by 25 percent this year (from 694) and claims a high retention rate.
