Travel Impressions Offers Virtual Trade Show

Travel Impressions is offering a free interactive virtual tradeshow themed "Book Early, Save Big" on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 from 1 - 5 pm EST.

The goal: inform travel agents about the new Group Department net to gross pricing as well as offer tips and tricks on using Travel Impressions’ series of destination and specialty brochures. Registration for agents is via

Participating agents can earn an extra $25 per booking and qualify for other incentives.

Attendees can also watch an interview with Steve Gorga, president and CEO, and John Hanratty, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, where they will detail Travel Impressions latest news.

Travel Impressions will have a booth for its Group Department so agents can learn the "ins and outs" of this growing market for destination weddings, family travel and other shared-interest group vacations. Attendees can also visit a booth featuring The Villa Experience by Travel Impressions which offers a portfolio of more than 800 villa rentals throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe and Mexico.

Travel Impressions will also be featured in destination booths for the U.S., Canada, Hawaii, Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, Africa and the Caribbean.

Travel agents who participate in the tradeshow can earn an extra $25 per booking in the form of an American Express Gift Cheque when making air/land reservations at any hotel or resort in the Travel Impressions portfolio. Bookings must be a minimum of five nights and include airfare and the Cancel for Any Reason Waiver provided by Travel Impressions. 

Reservations must be made Sept. 14 - 21, 2011 for travel Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2012. The redemption form can be found in the virtual briefcase available upon log-in as well as in the Travel Impressions booth and Media Center.

Exhibitors for the "Book Early, Save Big" virtual tradeshow include: Breezes Resorts and Spas; Sandals Resorts & Beaches Luxury Included Resorts; RIU Hotels & Resorts; Atlantis, Paradise Island; Barcelo Hotels & Resorts; Catalonia Hotels; Couples Resorts; Golden Parnassus Adult All-Inclusive Resort & Spa, Cancun; Great Parnassus All-Inclusive Resort & Spa, Cancun; The Island of Barbados; The Island of Saint Lucia; The U.S. Virgin Islands and Hertz Rent-a-Car.

Attendees can download documents offered at each supplier booth - such as brochures, selling tips, hotel information and vacation package details - to an online briefcase which they can save to their personal computers. This information is also available for downloading from the “Media Center” found at the top of the show’s homepage.

Show participants are also eligible to enter to win a four-day/three-night stay at the Grand Central Hotel in Barcelona, Spain; the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin; or the Barcelo Punta Cana
