Travel Insurance Purchasing on the Rise

If the majority—or even half—of your clients are not buying travel insurance, you are far behind the trend of the industry, according to a new consumer study conducted by the US Travel Insurance Association. The study found that 77 percent of people who book their travel through a travel agent bought travel insurance. The study also found that people going overseas are three times more likely to buy travel insurance than those travelng in North America. Also, most travelers (70 percent) taking a cruise buy travel insurance.
