The travel agents of Travel Leaders Associates had the opportunity to experience a “behind the scenes” tour with Delta Air Lines and Enterprise Rent-A-Car in either Atlanta or Los Angeles recently. They also had the opportunity to attend a “Corporate Agents Retreat” to discuss business practices with peers and leaders, including officials from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
The objective of the retreat is to offer business travel agents a chance to expand their knowledge base of Travel Leaders Associates programs and partners. Of the 50 total participants, those who were attending the Los Angeles event gathered in June, while those attending in Atlanta just recently met in July.
Highlights of the program include presentations and question and answer sessions from the TSA, VIP tours of Delta’s terminal upgrades and a behind-the-scenes look at their operations, facilities inspections at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National, reviewing pinSIGHT, the Travel Leaders Group’s new hotel booking site and round table discussions on corporate travel agent best practices, the top mobile apps business travelers are using and top techniques for increasing hotel and car attachment rates.
