Travel Leaders Group to Acquire Travel Management Partners

Travel Leaders Group has announced a strategic expansion in the business travel arena with the acquisition of Travel Management Partners of Raleigh, North Carolina. The company will now become part of the Travel Leaders Corporate division.

“As one of the industry’s premier business travel organizations, Travel Leaders Group remains focused on organic growth through cutting-edge tools and technology and continued growth through acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships,” said Ninan Chacko, chief executive officer of Travel Leaders Group in a press release. “With the addition of Travel Management Partners, two strong and growing businesses are joining forces to create greater opportunities for our customers.”

Founded in 1994, Travel Management Partners is one of the nation’s fastest-growing business travel management companies. It offers  a wide range of services and industry expertise to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. TMP CEO and President John W. Lewis will serve as a key member of Travel Leaders Corporate Executive Team.

There are no other major changes anticipated in operations at TMP as Travel Leaders Group works through the integration of the businesses.

Terms of the new agreement were not disclosed.

Earlier this year it was announced that Travel Leaders Group and Altour signed an agreement to unite under common ownership to form a single travel agency organization. 

Travel Leaders Group manages leisure, business and franchise travel operations under a variety of divisions and brands, including: All Aboard Travel, Andrew Harper Travel, Colletts Travel, Corporate Travel Services, CruCon Cruise Outlet, Cruise Specialists, Nexion, Protravel International, SinglesCruise.com, Travel Leaders Corporate, Travel Leaders Network and Tzell Travel.
