Travel Leaders announced its Agency of Excellence award winners during the 2012 Travel Leaders National Meeting in Dallas, including 25 agencies recognized for their leadership and business success.
Each Travel Leaders agency is scored in several categories that reflect business growth; utilization of marketing programs to effectively reach local consumers; participation in key training programs to enhance service to their clients, as well as in local and national business networking meetings, and their overall promotion of the Travel Leaders brand.

Diana Waltz, a Minneapolis business travel specialist, received a Travel Leaders’ “Employee of Excellence” Award. Waltz was one of three agents honored by Travel Leaders for performance and client service excellence. Waltz is from the Travel Leaders location at 15 South 5th Street, Suite 1120, in Minneapolis.
Also named were Mary DeGroat of Corporate Travel Planners, a Tzell branch in San Antonio, Texas, who won a Travel Leaders’ “Employee of Excellence” Award for outstanding client services. Sheila Mamuric, a Tempe, Arizona, based leisure travel specialist was the third travel professional honored for their achievements. Mamuric works from the Travel Leaders location at 414 South Mill Avenue in Tempe.
