Travel Leaders has announced it will welcome over 600 travel agents and industry executives to its National Meeting at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate this Friday.

Orlando is currently ranked as the second most popular domestic destination being booked for the remainder of the year by Travel Leaders travel agents nationally, sandwiched between New York City and Maui. This year's event marks the first time Travel Leaders has returned to the Orlando area since 2010.

The 2015 Travel Leaders National Meeting will offer more than 80 educational workshops, as well as 30-minute “buzz sessions,” a special “Learning Lounge,” a trade show, and other activities designed to further enhance the professionalism of its travel agents. The convention will be highlighted by key speakers including Mel Robbins (whose TEDx Talk on “How To Stop Screwing Yourself Over” has over four million views on YouTube and is one of CNN’s most popular on-air commentators), Douglas Quinby of Phocuswright (an expert on online travel and traditional travel distribution systems), and Joe Diaz, co-founder of AFAR magazine (in a special on-stage discussion regarding active and adventure travel). The latter discussion dovetails with Travel Leaders’ announcement earlier this year of an exclusive, three-year agreement to create and execute a proprietary specialization program for active and adventure travel with the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), Travel Leaders said.

The event will officially kick off in the afternoon on Friday, October 30, and will conclude on Monday, November 2.
