Travel Leaders Group has announced that its Travel Leaders of Tomorrow initiative is projected to grow to 175 participants over the course of 2016 as it celebrates its third year.

Launched in April 2013, the program to train new travel agents has been attracting a large number of Millennials, Travel Leaders reports. Participants of Travel Leaders of Tomorrow complete a proprietary, four-module course via a virtual campus, which is typically completed in 18-20 weeks. The comprehensive training features everything from the basics, to qualifying a client, selling different products, world geography, marketing strategies and destination training. Enrollees have 24-hour access to interactive online sessions and can also participate in weekly virtual study groups, interact with their peers through online discussion forums, collaborate on group presentations and gain inside knowledge through guest faculty from all segments of the travel industry.

The program also places top achievers into a growing number of Travel Leaders Group’s more than 6,500 wholly-owned, franchised and member travel agencies throughout North America. Additionally, many of Travel Leaders' supplier partners are offering partial tuition reimbursements for participants.
