Travel Leaders Wins $60 Million In New Business

As the business travel sector of the economy slowly continues to improve, Travel Leaders offers an encouraging report that its wholly-owned and associate (franchised) locations have won more than $60 million in new business accounts for the year.

In the second quarter alone Travel Leaders earned more than $29 million in new accounts. As with previous quarterly reports, Travel Leaders says this is a conservative estimate given the voluntary reporting each quarter by Travel Leaders Associates and Travel Leaders Corporate.

“Through Travel Leaders’ Envision program, we are working closely with our members nationally, not only in cultivating new business opportunities, but also helping them win new, and sometimes huge, accounts,” noted Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger Block.

“Envision offers our members an arsenal of exceptional tools specifically tailored to demonstrate to potential clients how they can maximize the return on investment by working with Travel Leaders. Additionally, the one-on-one training offered via our Envision Plus program has succeeded in landing new business for our participants. No other travel organization can match our proven, groundbreaking initiatives,” Block said.

For the second year in a row, parent company Travel Leaders Group was ranked as the top American travel management company in Business Travel News’ Business Travel Survey 2010, an annual compendium. The ranking came without counting the additional business travel sales of Travel Leaders’ franchised units.
