Despite the tough economic climate, Travel Leaders reports that its wholly owned and associate (franchised) locations won over $65 million in new corporate and small business accounts during the second quarter of 2009.
Travel Leaders also said that new business leads generated through its enhanced TravelLeaders.com web site have mushroomed exponentially during 2009, attributing much of the gains to positive word-of-mouth on the group's innovative travel solutions.
The company said the ongoing, seamless collaboration between Travel Leaders Corporate and Travel Leaders Associates has earned close to $160 million in new business accounts since the start of 2009.
Last month, parent company Travel Leaders Group was ranked number one among American travel management companies, Travel Leaders said. The ranking did not count overall sales of Travel Leaders’ franchised units.
“Our continued amazing success in attracting new business has been substantially enhanced by our nimble approach in delivering sensible yet innovative travel solutions for our clients of all sizes,” noted Travel Leaders Corporate President David Holyoke.
Travel Leaders Franchise Group President Roger E.
