Travel, Web Execs to Speak at TIA's Tech Conference

Executives of travel and Internet companies will speak at the Travel Industry Association's TravelCom in April on trends in technology, tourism, business development, customer relationships and profit making. Speakers at the April 8-10 conference in Chicago will include Suzy Reider, chief marketing officer of YouTube; Jeff Boyd, president and CEO of Priceline; Michelle Peluso, president and CEO of Travelocity; Eric Pearson, senior vice president of distribution for Intercontinental Hotel Group; and Christine Petersen, vice president of marketing for TripAdvisor.

All presentations will underscore TravelCom's theme of "Destination Unknown: Predicting Tomorrow's Travel Environment." Henry Harteveldt, vice president and principal analyst of Forrester Research, will open the conference with a keynote speech designed to help e-commerce, distribution, marketing and customer service executives lead their companies through an uncertain economy and evolving distribution models.
