TravelClick Partners With Room Key

keyboardTravelClick reports that their hotels are live on Room Key (www.roomkey.com). TravelClick's web booking engine hotel customers can now display real-time, best available rates and inventory on the Room Key website. Room Key, an online hotel search engine, is owned by six hotel companies.

TravelClick notes it was one of the early central reservations system providers to partner with Room Key to provide seamless connectivity to key hotel properties and drive more direct bookings on hotel websites.

This partnership will enable participating properties to be featured with a "Book at this Hotel's Official Website" button directing customers to book reservations directly through the property's iHotelier web booking engine, with rates and inventory managed by hoteliers via TravelClick's iHotelier platform.

"Our TravelClick properties under this partnership will be given the opportunity to drive bookings directly to their property through Room Key's simple, fast and trustworthy booking experience," said Jonathan Cherins, executive vice president of reservation solutions at TravelClick.

"Our partnership with Room Key enables us to increase the breadth and depth of our distribution portfolio while creating demand and strengthening our hotels overall distribution strategy. We believe hoteliers will be able to maximize their revenue through online channels by showcasing their properties on Room Key's search engine that boasts the value of booking direct."

"Partnering with TravelClick allows us to continue to expand the array of independent hotel properties available to the over seven million monthly visitors to Roomkey.com," said John F. Davis III, chief executive officer of Room Key.
