Travelport has announced the addition of UK airport parking options through its Smartpoint point of sale solution via the Airport Parking & Hotels (APH) plugin.
With the new APH plugin, which is available through Travelport's Marketplace, travel agencies can upsell airport parking when making flight bookings through a two-step process. The application automatically presents relevant parking content based on specific airport codes. The plugin is free of charge to travel agents.
The other key features of the APH plugin include:
- The ability to pre-book airport parking and receive instant confirmation and service documents
- Parking availability and real-time quotes are shown for individual flight departures booked
- Includes the ability to integrate PNR details into the back-office system
