Travelport, ATPI Sign Agreement

Travelport has expanded its relationship with the ATPI Group in a new long-term agreement. ATPI, an international travel management company, will have access to content on  Travelport’s GDS system to service its customers in 13 countries including the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, the U.S., France and Norway.  The agreement includes the provision of technology and solutions to marine travel specialist Instone International, which was acquired by the ATPI Group in 2009.

“We have a long-standing, highly collaborative working relationship with the team at Travelport, who demonstrate strong insight and understanding of our business," said Graham Ramsey, ATPI Group CEO. "As we continue to grow internationally, we feel Travelport is a great partner to continue to support our business.”

Travelport is also providing technology that will assist ATPI to increase efficiency of its web-based databases, which includes customized training solutions. The lengthy deal was clinched by Travelport following a thorough analysis of ATPI’s business challenges and needs, Travelport said.

“Travelport has developed a tailored business strategy for ATPI, to provide solutions that match their international growth strategy," said Sandra McLeod SVP Global Accounts for Travelport GDS. "ATPI continues to grow exponentially despite the ongoing effects of the economic downturn. The partnership between our organizations illustrates our confidence in working together.”
