Travelport GDS and TAP Sign Agreement

Travelport GDS has signed a new, full -ontent agreement with TAP Air Portugal (TAP). The new deal will provide all Galileo- and Worldspan-connected travel agents worldwide with access to all of the airline’s published fares and inventory, including its web-only fares.

The multi-year agreement with TAP, which operates routes across Europe and globally to North and South America, takes immediate effect. In addition to the full content, Travelport GDS and TAP will be working together to explore ways to grow sales in markets across Africa, as well as in France, Italy and Brazil, the company said.

This deal adds to the extensive list of full-content agreements with European flag carriers that Travelport GDS customers already enjoy, including British Airways, Lufthansa, SWISS, Alitalia, Iberia, Air France and KLM.
