The Travelport global distribution system, which recently integrated with Worldspan, has redesigned its commercial management team to better align business operations with customer markets. Led by Kevin Mooney, Travelport's chief commercial officer, the commercial group is responsible for the sales, marketing, support and operations of all traditional and online agency customers, as well as supplier relationships. The new structure is said to leverage global efficiencies, while maintaining regional autonomy for the supplier and subscriber channels.

The commercial management team includes Bryan Conway, who will head subscriber and supplier business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia; Brad Holman, leading the Asia-Pacific region; Kathy Fitzpatrick, who is based in Atlanta, heading the Americas; Sandra McLeod, responsible for global multi-national accounts; Camille Olivere, heading the global online travel agency segment; Kevin Fico, leading airline IT services and data products; Mark Meehan, responsible for global operations; and Flo Lugli, who will serve as acting chief marketing officer.

Based on this new structure, the following executives will transition from the organization in the coming weeks and months: Andrew Cuomo, Dave Falter, Graham Nichols, Mike Parks and Jay Rein.

"Our goal is not just to create an integrated Travelport GDS but to build a highly efficient, highly productive organization which is easy to do business with and justifies being selected by our customers as a partner of choice," said Mooney. (JM)
