Tripology Enhances Web Site, Nets More Agents

Tripology, the web site aimed at connecting consumers with travel agents, has released an enhanced version of its site, which asks consumers more questions to provide agents with more informative leads. New questions surround budgeting, trip-planning phase and age. "Agents were hesitant to buy a lead not knowing if the consumer was just a shopper," Brett Krasnove, vice president of product development for Tripology, told Travel Agent. "With the new version of our site, we're able to really communicate what the consumer wants so the agent knows more before they talk to the consumer. That makes a big difference." Tripology now has over 6,000 agents in its network, proving that the model works, Krasnove said. Visit [www.tripology.com]. (JM)
