Lisa Benzakein, formerly of Classic Vacations, has joined the Tzell Travel Group as vice president of leisure travel. In her new position, Benzakein is responsible for all leisure vendor negotiations, development of Tzell's leisure business and assisting Tzell agencies with all aspects of leisure sales. She also will work with the Signature Travel Network to continue to increase Tzell's support.
Benzakein had been a sales manager at Classic since 2000. Prior to that, she worked in business development for Carnival Cruise Lines. Tzell Travel Group, headquartered in New York City, has annual billings exceeding $750 million and regional offices in NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, Nashville, Savannah, Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Washington state.
