UAL Corp., owner of United Airlines, on Wednesday named Barbara Higgins vice president of customer experience. Higgins, a former executive at Disney, will lead the company's plan to make United stand out through superior customer service from its U.S. competitors. "United is a strong brand with a great collection of assets, positioning it well within the industry," Higgins said in a statement. "By combining these strengths with its strongest asset, its people, the company has a tremendous opportunity to deliver an experience of value to all of its customers, and to reward its best customers."
