US Airways has announced their 2013 Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt. The 7th annual contest, which ends June 30, 2013, allows travel agents to compete for $15,000 in prizes.
Travel agencies will sell Las Vegas packages with US Airways to try to generate the most revenue. They can also offer their clients more options such as travel insurance and layaway plans. As part of the contest, travel agents will earn full commission on 100% of the air portion of these packages.
To be eligible, the travel agency must be registered with US Airways Vacations and be a US Airways Vacations Specialist. Winners will be announced mid-August.
In September, the 30 top-selling agencies are invited to send one representative to Las Vegas. The trip includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, a kick-off breakfast and an award’s ceremony/dinner. The winning team will receive a grand prize of $15,000 in shopping gift cards and gift cards for free air travel on US Airways.
