and Newwest Link Up for Olympics

vancouver is welcoming its latest preferred supplier, Newwest Special Projects LP, an Edmonton, Alberta-based special events travel company, who has teamed up with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) to offer onboard lodging for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

In partnership with NCL, Newwest will offer special Olympic lodging onboard the Norwegian Star. The ship will be docked on the North Shore, directly across from Stanley Park, for the duration of the 2010 Winter Games.

Three or four-night packages are available starting at $1,050 per person double occupancy from February 10 to March 2, filling the ship’s 1,119 staterooms with nearly 9,000 guests during the games. Each passenger will enjoy complimentary transportation 24 hours a day, seven days a week to and from the Sea Bus Terminal, a major transportation hub, to reach sporting venues throughout the city and in the nearby mountains.

Along with receiving a generous bonus commission, members will be able to extend a great onboard offer to their clients. All packages include gourmet dining, nightly entertainment, a Captain’s cocktail reception, live satellite coverage of the Olympic Games, airport transfers, a city tour and more.
