Vacation.com Launches 2009 Conference Website

In anticipation of the 11th International Conference & Trade Show, June 17–20, 2009 (with a pre-conference training day on June 16) at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Vacation.com has launched its 2009 conference website and extended the early bird registration rate of $79 per person until October 31. The site features a detailed schedule of events, class descriptions, speaker information, registration section, hotel information and list of participating exhibitors.  The website can be accessed via www.AgentNet.com.

“Vacation.com urges any member who has not yet registered for this year’s conference to take advantage of the early bird rate and easy registration through the conference website,” said Lauraday Kelley, vice president of conference and corporate communications for Vacation.com.  “With an impressive roster of speakers, over 100 hours of profit-producing sessions, and first-hand access to the EZguider platform, this year’s conference will help members increase their knowledge in all facets of their Vacation.com membership.”

U.S. members will receive one complimentary registration per agency as part of their annual membership fee. Early bird registrants receive class registration priority, exclusive fam opportunities and the chance to win a private marketing makeover with Mike Marchev. Caesars Palace is also offering discounted accommodations for all conference registrants who reserve and prepay for a room by March 21, 2009.

This year’s conference agenda will include sessions that are designed to enable members to enhance profits through deeper preferred supplier knowledge, new business strategies and technologies, and effective use of Vacation.com programs and tools, Vacation.com said. Classes will focus on key preferred supplier relations and networking opportunities will allow agents to mingle with other Vacation.com members and new suppliers. Participants can also enroll in continuing education courses to earn CLIA credits.
