Vacation.com will hold its regional meetings in Dallas (February 23), Philadelphia (March 15), Chicago (March 23), Cleveland (April 6) and Boston (April 7). Co-sponsored by Vacation.com Preferred Suppliers, the Regional Meetings provide member agents the opportunity to speak directly to Vacation.com business development managers, network with local members, discuss sales tips with suppliers and attend a mini-trade show.
“The theme for our 2011 meetings is ‘Bring It Into Focus.’ We want our members to gain a better understanding of all the valuable sales opportunities a membership in Vacation.com brings,” said Karin Viera, Vacation.com’s general manager of sales. “We feel that it’s vital to connect and communicate with our members as often as possible, which is why these meetings are free for them to attend.”
Most of the regional meetings will also provide two additional training sessions: “Selling Upscale – benefits both you and your customer!” or “Agency Direct Marketing.”
