Unveils Program for 2014 Conference announced the program for its 16th annual International Conference & Trade Show to be held June 8-12, 2014, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Themed “All Access,” attendees will be provided an all access pass to learn about the latest in travel industry innovations and take advantage of numerous training workshops, the group says.

Noted travel journalist and CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg (a.k.a. “The Travel Detective”) is scheduled to present the keynote speech. Also, Jason Dorsey – “The Gen Y Guy” – has been added as a speaker.

Marriott International is sponsoring a General Session presentation by Jason Dorsey, better known as “The Gen Y Guy,” who will discuss ready-to-use actions that attract and keep Gen Y customers. As Gen Y consumers come of age – along with their spending power estimated at $240 billion annually in the United States alone – Dorsey will outline this generation of consumers’ unique mindset, including how they buy differently, the group says.

The Conference will showcase more than 150 booths at an trade show on June 9, and select members may also take part in a Young Professionals event. 

An Experience Room, where guests will receive personal advice and hands-on training on programs such as CruisePRO, Engagement, In-Sites, Stream, Agent Universe and more is planned. 

For the first time members will be able to meet with suppliers during round table sessions on June 10. Also new in 2014, Conference will also feature four Power Speaker sessions instead of three. This year’s Power Speakers include Stuart Ellis-Myers, president of Twitch, Inc.; Sherrie & Charlie Funk, Just Cruisin’ Plus; Bob Becker, Norwegian Cruise Line; and a technology board filled with the industry’s top technology experts. 

The 90 minute Power Speaker sessions will be held on June 11 and each will take place twice, to provide agents the opportunity to attend two of the four sessions. members will also have the opportunity to learn from top executives during panel discussions, including one on technology.

Attendees will have access to all Conference details via their smartphones and tablets, allowing them to receive up-to-the-minute information and downloadable maps to help navigate their way through Conference. The Conference mobile app will be available for all Android and iOS phones and tablets.
