Kathy Fitzpatrick, president of VAX VacationAccess, announced the addition of two new directors to drive business development and agency relations.
Noel Fitzgerald was named director of VAX VacationAccess Travel Agency Channel to lead VAX’s efforts to identify new ways to enhance VAX’s travel agent relationships and continue to improve the platform to help agents grow their business. Fitzgerald brings nearly 20 years experience in the travel industry having worked for Galileo, Worldspan and Amadeus. Before joining VAX, she worked with corporate travel departments to improve process and business results as business development manager at Amadeus North America.
Edyta Satchell, named director of business development, will lead VAX’s efforts to bring more suppliers to the platform and deliver new products and tools to help travel agents and suppliers effectively sell leisure travel. Satchell has more than 10 years experience in the travel industry with extensive background in GDS and travel technology product management and working closely with travel agencies. Satchell worked in both the UK and the U.S. for WorldspanTravelport as a product manager and was responsible for developing strategies and managing a portfolio of products.
